Under the motto “Let's say no to harmful habits and always stay healthy!”, the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Kickboxing Championship for cadets, juniors and youth will be held. The competition starts at 11:00 on 12 June 2026 at the İlham Əliyev Olympic Sports Complex in the city of Naxçıvan.
The championship will be organised jointly by the Ministry of Youth and Sports of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation. Its main aims are to promote a healthy lifestyle among young people, fight harmful habits, give athletes more competition experience and contribute to the development of kickboxing in the country.
Athletes representing different cities and districts of the republic will compete. Winners and medallists will receive diplomas and medals.
To ensure the competition is held at a high level, transparently and in line with international rules, the bouts will be run and scored by the referees' board of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation.
The Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation continues its work to develop kickboxing in the country, train young athletes and achieve success on the international stage. The federation wishes all participants success and invites fans to follow the competition.
