The XXX Azerbaijan Kickboxing Championship for youth, juniors and younger cadets was held at the Gəncə Olympic Sports Complex on 18–21 June 2026. The competition was organised by the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation.
According to the Ministry of Youth and Sports, a total of 636 athletes from 82 clubs in 28 cities and districts took part. Figures released by the federation on the eve of the event put the number of boys at 535 and girls at 101. Two rings and one tatami were set up for the bouts, and the refereeing team numbered 28.
The best performers were named at the end of the championship. On the tatami, the best athlete was Hüseyn Babazadə (DİN İK), the best coach İlkin Budaqov (Aslan İK) and the best referee Ruslan Musayev. In the ring, the best athlete award went to Həsən Allahyarov (AKF Gəncə İK), the best coach award to Əsgər Rəhimov (Abşeron İK) and the best referee award to Ramiz Nadirov.
Anar Məmmədov, chair of the West Region, was honoured for his work in organising and running the championship. The title of “most persistent team” went to Dragon Fight Academy (coach Elnur Hemidov).
The leadership of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation congratulates all winners, medallists, coaches, referees, organisers and every athlete who took part, and wishes them new success in future competitions.
