Amin Quliyev, a member of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation national team and a WAKO world and European champion, represented Azerbaijan at the YFU-94 international professional fight tournament held in China on 23 May 2026. Amin Quliyev won by knockout over his opponent Zhao Zhendyang.
The athlete prepared for the event under the guidance of coach Sirac Ələkbərov. Amin Quliyev's personal coach is Eduard Məmmədov, a multiple world and European champion and vice-president of the Azerbaijan Kickboxing Federation.
The federation congratulates Amin Quliyev on his victory and wishes him further success in future competitions. As the federation noted, its focused work, the professional training process and the support given to athletes are reflected in the results achieved on the international stage.
On 22 May, a day before the event, the federation announced that Amin Quliyev would represent Azerbaijan at the tournament and wished him success. The federation regards the victory as further evidence of its leadership's contribution to the development of sport in the country.
